One morning I woke up and found myself craving another foodie adventure. We haven’t had a good one since Valentine’s Day weekend in Vancouver BC and like always Mr. Crissinger was game (how I love him). My idea was to have one item at various eateries to get a wide experience. We tried some places we’ve never been to before while others were favorite repeats. This is the Pike Place edition, so we remained in the market area.
WHAT WE ORDERED: raspberry croissant
The place was packed, so I was happy to get my croissant and get out of there! They had a display of tempting treats, but I was determined not to get my fill at the first spot. The croissant itself was crunchy on outside but soft and chewy in the middle & the raspberry filling was a wonderful addition.
WHAT WE ORDERED: mariachi mac & cheese
It took everything in me not to order another helping! The chiles, veggies and Flagship cheese really complimented each other in this dish.
Rachel’s Ginger Beer
WHAT WE ORDERED: blood orange ginger beer
Enough said, right? Who doesn’t love blood orange.
WHAT WE ORDERED: caramel soy latte with two salted caramels
This is a awesome coffee spot right in the market. They have a very simple menu and their syrups are homemade (caramel and vanilla). If you have time to savor your coffee check this place out!
WHAT WE ORDERED: salmon burger
It’s no surprise I rated this four stars because I LOVE salmon. We ate outside and was lucky enough to sit with a food tour group- I need to get signed up for one of those asap!
